OBJECTIVE:  To obtain the knowledge, skill and aeronautical experience necessary to

meet Federal Aviation Administration Part 61-125 Certification Standards.

MINIMUM COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

Dual time

15 Hours Dual Flight Instruction $2,490.00 -$2,790.00
10 Hours Dual Pre/ Post flight Ground Instruction $560.00

Solo time

5 Hours Supervised Solo Flight Practice $550.00 – $650.00
15 Hours Ground Instruction $795.00
GLEIM SPORT PILOT KIT $128.00
FAA WRITTEN TEST $165.00
FLIGHT TEST $500.00

The above prices are based on training flights in our Taylorcraft BC12-D1 aircraft and our CSA SportCruiser. (T-Craft- SportC.)

NOTE:    Ground instruction prices are based on direct student/ instructor interaction and may be reduced by as much as two hundred dollars if student participation permits, i.e. four of more students available for formal classroom activities. Instructor time would be prorated based on the number of students in attendance. Please keep in mind that the times listed above are best estimates based on the minimum hourly training requirements as specified by the appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations.  Depending on personal learning ability individual pilots may require more time to gain the proficiency to pass a particular flight test

 

COMPLETION STANDARDS:    In order to qualify for a Sport Pilot Certificate, the student    pilot must demonstrate through written, oral, and practical examination, that he/ she meets the knowledge, skill, and experience requirements specified in FAR Part 61 of the Federal Regulations.
